SECTION A – ABOUT RSVP
What is RSVP?
RSVP SingleLife was created to provide an online source for singles to connect and enhance their single life. As a member, you will have access to our online site offering not only traditional online dating services but also a calendar of events filled with exciting activities.
If you are interested in dating and romance, building new friendships or just networking with other professional singles, RSVP SingleLife can help you enrich your life with opportunities to meet and mingle with other local singles. We currently service the Ventura County area including Westlake Village, Thousand Oaks, Oak Park, Simi Valley, Moorpark, Oxnard and Ventura as well as surrounding areas in Los Angeles County of Malibu, Calabasas and West San Fernando Valley.

Can I utilize the online dating services AND participate in workshops and classes?
Yes… that is the difference with RSVP Singlelife – we offer the benefits of both to you. You may access the online dating service 24/7 as well as participate in workshops or classes all for one low monthly fee. Online dating allows you to search for that special someone while the workshops and classes offer opportunities to meet the real people behind the profiles in a comfortable environment without any pressure….or just an opportunity to enrich your life with new activities if you’re not looking for that special someone now.
Is the service just for singles?
Yes, it is a requirement that you be single, widowed or divorced.
What is the age group for your membership?
Our minimum age is 24 but our age group is from 24 to 70 with a majority being between 30 and 60.
What type of person is interested in your services?
We find that most of our members have very busy lives and either don’t have the opportunities to meet other interesting people or their social circle is of friends who are attached. It is a very diversified group with different backgrounds, careers and interests participating in the program. Some are focused on finding the “right” one, some are focused on self-improvement and learning more through classes and education and some are interested in finding companions whether it be friendship, networking or more.
Can I only participate in the classes and workshops and not the online dating?
Yes. The monthly fee includes both but it is your choice if you want to utilize both or just one part of the service.
SECTION B - WHAT IS ONLINE DATING?
What is online dating?
You start by creating your personal profile. Once you have submitted your personal profile, we match you with other members that might be compatible with you. One of the fastest growing internet businesses, online dating has been extremely successful particularly with the fast pace of living today. While years ago it was not as socially acceptable, today it has become a very successful way of meeting someone and it is not uncommon to find that many couples that are together today have met thru online dating.
How does it work?
You can search 24/7 to find matches on your own by choosing certain match criteria such as distance, hobbies and religious background.
SECTION C – MEMBERSHIP QUESTIONS?
Are there any other costs?
Occasionally we may have a class where this is minimal fee but the majority is free and included in your membership. If there is an additional cost, you are not obligated to pay for it unless you attend that particular class or workshop.
What are the special events?
Special events are events that are held periodically and are not included in your regular monthly membership. These first class events include Theme Parties such as a Casino Night. The special events have a larger attendance of our members rather that the smaller groups you find in the classes and workshops.
While there is a cost for these special events, we strive to keep this cost to a minimum so it is not more than the average amount you spend for an evening out on the town plus we make them memorable events worth every penny!
Can we bring friends to the special events or workshops & classes?
You must be a member to participate in the special events or workshops & classes, however, there will be occasions where you may bring friends which will be announced at the time we notify the members of the event.
How do we find out about the special events or workshops & classes?
Simply go to the EVENTS tab on our website and scroll over the calendar. The special events and workshops/classes will show up and by hitting "Click Here" you can send us an email to register for any one that you are interested in. We will forward you a confirmation of your RSVP within 24 hours with location information and directions. On the special events where there is a cost, you will need to prepay for the event. Additionally, we will be sending out emails to our membership periodically announcing new events and reminding them of scheduled upcoming events.
How do I become a member?
Simply register on the website, complete and submit your personal profile and you are on your way to enjoying the great benefits of RSVP SingleLife.If you do not wish to complete a bio and headline, you may leave these areas blank.
SECTION D – QUESTIONS ABOUT YOUR PERSONAL PROFILE INFORMATION
How do I change my password if I forget it?
If you forgot your username/password you can easily restore it by hitting the “forgot password” link on the Sign page. Just enter your email address which you used for registration, and your data will be sent to you. You can change your password from your profile page. Go to the Edit Profile tab and hit the change password button on the right of the page.

Your RSVP Team Members are here to help….whether it is a billing question, how to use the site, how to upload pictures or any other questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us. We want to make this an enjoyable experience for you! Just look for the link “contact us” at the bottom of page. Hit the drop down tab for the billing department with your question and will contact you to help with the changes.
SECTION E – PERSONAL PROFILE QUESTIONS
How do I make a personal profile?
Simply log in and the website will take you through the process…it’s a very easy step by step process and before you know it you will have completed your profile. Things to remember when completing your profile is to be as honest as possible and as interesting as possible…don’t make your “quick words” too lengthy and keep your “headline” interesting. And remember, photos get up to 10 times more attention that those profiles without so don’t forget your picture!
What does pending approval mean?
When you are finished with your personal profile and save it, it is automatically sent to our administrative office for approval as we screen each profile to make sure that it is acceptable which takes less than 48 hours. Once we have notified you that your profile is approved, you can begin using the services of RSVP SingleLife.
Remember: check your spelling and grammar, DON’T SHOUT, keep it interesting but don’t tell your life story and use a photo!!
How do I update or edit my profile?
When you are logged in go to the “My Profile” tab. Hit edit profile. You can change your Bio, your interest and/or the information you would like in your match from this page.
Can I hide my photo so other members can’t see it?
You can mark your photo to be password protected. You have the option to make your photo public, to friends only or private with password only.
How do I put my photo on the computer?
You can input your photo from 2 different areas on the site. You can first insert you photo when you first sign up with RSVP, on the “Join” page towards the bottom of the page. You will need to hit the “browse” button; this will take you to your pictures/folders on your computer. Once you have chosen the picture that you would like, you hit the insert button and it will be uploaded. After you joined and upload your photo, we will approve the profile and your picture within 24 hours. You may also upload your photo from which in the “profile” section, once you are a member. Make sure you upload fine quality photos. Remember that a good photo greatly increases your chances to connect other members.

How do I change my main picture?
Just click on your photo and it will take you to the upload screen. Here you can change your main photo and add other photos to your profile. You can have up to 8 photos on your profile. Why should I post a photo?
This is one of the most important parts of your personal profile. A majority of members do not want to even look at profiles that don’t have a picture and it is a fact that you increase your exposure by having a photo uploaded to your profile.
What does the “Advanced” tab mean?
If you decide that you would like to decorate your page with photos, backgrounds, holiday decorations, pictures or saying that represents you, this is the tab you would hit. We will be offering classes on how to make your page the best it can be. The default template is our standard format, the advance template helps you move your downloaded items to where you would like them to be on the page. You can hit the color tab and you will be able to make your profile the color of your choose or hit the image tab and you can download a photo that will become your background, like a flower or a sunset. If you have question navigate this page hit the contact us tab and enter your question and will be happy to help you out.
What does “online now” mean?
It means that those members are currently online with the website and utilizing our services at the same time that you are on.
How do I let someone know I’m interested?
You can either send them a wink or send them a quick email saying that you saw their profile and think you have a lot in common.
What is a wink? How many times can I wink with someone?
A wink is a quick way of flirting that you can send to other members. The member will get the wink in their email box and they can then review your profile and wink or email back if there is interest.
How do I wink to someone?
Go to their profile and click on the link where it says, "Send Wink".
What is a quick search?
Quick search would be a basic search of age, and members with or without photo.
What is an advanced search?
An advance search helps you narrow down your matches. If will give you more of the items that you may be looking for in your match; interest, profession, income, body/hair type etc.
How do I search for people near me or in a certain age group?
You can search for people in your area in advance search. Enter the ages you are interested in and the area in which you are looking. Under location you may search by how many miles from your zip code, city or state.
Simply enter the age range that you are interested in or the distance range that you want from your particular zip code.
Can I search only for people that have the same interests as me?
Yes, you can choose whatever criteria you want to search for but remember if you limit yourself too much, you will limit your choices so be open minded and not too restrictive in your choices – remember nobody is perfect and opposites can attract!
How do I edit a search?
After you see your search results you can refine your search or save your search results.
Can I email other members at RSVP SingleLife?
Yes, as soon as you become a member.
Who can contact me?
Any members of RSVP SingleLife can contact you via the online dating service unless you block them.
How do I know if I got an email and how do I access it?
When you get an email it will show up when you log into the system. Look into the mailbox to view all of your emails and messages.
How do I send a message to someone?
If you are looking at a members profile and would like to send a message, you can hit the send a message tab and a box will come up for you to complete. If they send you a message and you would like to send one back you can send a message by hit the send message button, in RED you will see who you are corresponding with.
When someone sends a message, where does it go and how do I reply?
When someone sends you a message, it will go into your mailbox, you can hit the reply button, block or delete button. You can send a message by hit the send message button, in RED you will see who you are corresponding with.
How do I block a member from sending me messages?
If you receive an email or message from a member that you would like to block, just hit the block button on the email under the message. You will have a list kept on your home page that only you can see; you may unblock or block any member.
How do I know if my message was received?
What are my bookmarks?
These are members that you want to keep on eye on.
How do I save my favorites?
When you are in a members profile you can hit the bookmark button and this will add this member to our bookmark/favorites.
What if I am not interested in someone that contacts me?
For whatever reason, it just isn’t there. Be polite and just let them know that you don’t think you are a good match. It’s better to at least respond than not to say anything…wouldn’t you want someone to do the same for you?
Do I need to renew my membership?
No, you subscription will continuously renew monthly unless you notify us of your intent to cancel your membership.

SECTION F – QUESTIONS ABOUT WORKSHOPS/CLASSES & SPECIAL EVENTS
What are the classes/workshops?
Classes and workshops are usually about 1 ½ hour long and cover different topics such as investments, fitness, cooking, dancing, etc. There is a break in the middle of the class so that members can become acquainted with each other.
Can I go to the events on my own?
Yes. An RSVP staff member is present at each activity. Our goal is to assure that members get an opportunity to meet each other and assist members with interaction if they wish.
How do I find out about them?
See our calendar of events and/or watch for our e-invites.
How do I meet someone that I have seen at a class/workshop that I have an interest in?
The best way of course is to approach them during the time you are there; however, if you are uncomfortable in approaching someone of interest, you can let an RSVP staff member know and with your consent, we will be happy to pass your username to the member you are interested in. They can then contact you via the online dating service if the interest is mutual and you two can take it from there!
What if I have to cancel?
On the workshops and classes, out of courtesy to our instructors/sponsors, we ask that you give a minimum 72 hour cancellation notice. If you cancel more than once without a 72 hour cancellation notice, there will be a $5.00 cancellation fee.
What if I can’t make it to a special event that I have prepaid for – will I get a refund?
For the prepaid special events, we also ask that you give a 72 hour cancellation notice; however, any prepaid cost will not be refunded. We plan these events at a break-even cost for us and if we have cancellations we are still charged therefore we are unable to refund for special events.
SECTION G – PRIVACY AND SECURITY QUESTIONS
Can another member find out my personal email?
The only information they have access to is the information that you provide in your personal profile or to them once you have started communication. All communication between members is through our website which does not show your email to protect your privacy. If you communicate from another email rather than through our website you will need to delete any personal information to make sure that your personal email and information is not displayed.
Can I block someone if I don’t want to communicate with them?
Yes, you can block another member by hitting the block member button
